Up to £100 will sponsor a local young person in a weekend theatre project. These projects help build confidence, social skills and cultural understanding.
£100 will sponsor a place in one of our Summer School Workshop Weeks.
• We run 2 workshops, one for 8-11 year olds and one for 12-14 year olds to help create a new piece of theatre.
£200 will sponsor one day of youth theatre sessions.
• We run two youth theatre sessions every Sunday during term time, one for ages 11-14 years and one 14-18 year olds.
• This is FREE for students to attend.
£500 will provide a support worker for a child with disabilities on one of our workshop weeks.
£1000 will sponsor 100 underprivileged local young people to see a live show at the New Wimbledon Theatre.
£1500 will sponsor art and drama workshops across the borough of Merton during the school holidays.
• This is an important project, providing positive and creative activities for young people who are unable to travel to their local theatre, either because of their financial situation, or because of family circumstances (e.g. children who act as carers for a family member).
£5000 will help sponsor a typical Express Yourself Project for groups of young people who have a variety of physical, behavioural, social and/or learning needs.
