Take a peep behind the scenes as Act Two films scenes from Common Knowledge at Southside House.
After a Sunday of filming outdoors at the mercy of the elements on May 16, Act Two were delighted to be inside for this week’s shoot – and what a location!
This week’s filming took place at historic Southside House, home to generations of the Pennington Mellor Munthe families. Re-fashioned in the William and Mary style, this beautiful house boasts a collection of art and historical objects reflecting centuries of ownership.

On the edge of Wimbledon & Putney Commons, this grand, old house was the perfect place to shoot scenes from Act Two’s film, Common Knowledge.
We’re hugely grateful to Southside House for accommodating the shoot and giving our young actors an authentic taste of period drama filmmaking.
Here’s a behind-the-scenes gallery from the shoot, which gives a sense of just how beautiful Southside house is – and has made us all incredibly excited to see the film!
