Bid for England rugby tickets and help our Young Actors

Join our silent auction to snag a pair of tickets to see England play Italy on Saturday 9 March.

Calling all rubgy fans!

To launch our spring fundraising we have two tickets for the Six Nations fixture at Twickenham on Saturday 9 March, when England face Italy, up for grabs in a silent auction.

The Six Nations competition is set to go to the wire and it will be one of the last occasions to see England play before the World Cup later this year.

With a face value of £88 per ticket, these are great seats in the South Lower Stand, slightly east of centre.

The generous donor of the tickets told us: “The perspective from the South Stand provides real insight into the constantly-changing formation of the defensive lines as well as the build-up of the attacks…and there is better provision of loos and bars than in the old, East Stand.”

All proceeds from the sale of the tickets will go to WCTT projects, including the continuation of the Young Actors Company and its upcoming social project with the Alzheimer’s Society.

If you’d like to bid on the tickets, please send an email containing your name and the amount you’d like to bid.

The auction will close at 12pm on Monday 4 March and we will contact the highest bidder by 6pm on the same date.

We need your support more than ever

WCTT is a charity that gives local children in Merton the opportunity to express their creativity, fulfil their potential and take part in life-changing community projects, raising awareness about everything from e-safety to living with dementia.

In the past, we’ve successfully campaigned to keep the Young Actors Company free of charge for every member – but the costs of running a youth theatre are high, and there is now a question mark over our future. We’re relying on fundraising, grants and short-term sponsors for survival.

Earlier this year we wrote to the families of our Young Actors, asking them to make voluntary donations to help us keep the youth theatre open.

Thanks to the generosity of 17 donors we raised £2,095. Every penny of this significant contribution will go towards keeping the Young Actors company open and free to attend.

By bidding for the rugby tickets, attending our fundraising events, or simply making a donation at any time, you can help us keep WCTT and the Young Actors Company going.

We’re counting on you!
