Merry Christmas from all at WCTT – and if you’re looking for a last minute Christmas gift, we’ve got you covered.
It’s been a brilliant year for WCTT. We’ve welcomed new members to the Young Actors Company, seen our actors perform at New Wimbledon Theatre and the Royal Albert Hall, enjoyed musical fundraising events in Wimbledon and Barnes, and completed the second successful year of our inter-generational project, Living Memory.
And the fun won’t stop in 2020: our first major event is Big Night Out, a fundraising spectacular on the main stage at New Wimbledon Theatre on Monday 3 February 2020 at 7pm.
As well as singing along to classic tunes played by the Merton Youth Concert Band, the audience will be treated to the world premiere of Twist!, a 2020 reimagining of the Charles Dickens classic, Oliver Twist, with music, comedy and surprises galore.
The Oliver Twist story has a very special link to Wimbledon – and we know that our young actors will make a wonderful job of celebrating that rich history with you all in February.
Tickets for this ‘one night only’ performance are on sale now and at only £15 each, they make a lovely stocking filler for friends and family who love a big night out at the theatre filled with music and fun.
