Merton Plays
Starting in September 2022 we are running two new groups for elders living in Merton with one group focussing on provision for those living with dementia, their families and carers. This is an opportunity for older people in the borough to be creative together, finding moments of self expression using storytelling, music and movement. There is no charge to attend and no experience necessary!
In 2023 we will be integrating the groups with our Young Actors Company with opportunities to see their productions at New Wimbledon Theatre Studio, share our stories with them and join together for an intergenerational arts celebration in July.
Partnering with Commonside Community Development Trust and Alzheimer’s Society, full details of each group is below. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Grace at WCTT mail@ctt.org.uk or contact the venues directly.
