Join us for an evening of fun and brain-teasing at our annual quiz night in New Wimbledon Theatre’s Time & Leisure Studio.
As a small, local arts charity, WCTT’s fundraising events are crucial to the work we do and the projects we support, including the Young Actors Company.
This year, our fundraising team has been super busy behind the scenes conjuring events and money-raising schemes to help keep the Young Actors Company free of charge for all to attend, and to support the many projects we do in collaboration with local schools and community groups.
Our ‘star-studded’ sponsored walk on Wimbledon Common was the first big event of the season and, thanks to the sterling effort of our young actors, parents, trustees and supporters, we raised over £2,000, doubling our fundraising target.
Now we’re preparing for a fun-filled night of entertainment-related brain teasers, local trivia and a special round of questions set by our Young Actors (note to grown-ups – you’d better start watching YouTube and playing Fortnite).
If you know your Abbey Road from your Merton Abbey Mills, and are brave enough to take on our wipeout round, join us at New Wimbledon Theatre’s Time & Leisure Studio for WCTT’s annual quiz night.
Taking place from 7pm to 10pm on 27 November 2018, tickets are just £10 per player and we’re looking for 12 teams with five players each.
The title of WCTT Quizzards of Oz 2018 – and a fabulous Christmas hamper – will be awarded to the winning team and, as well as testing your grey matter, you can also have a flutter by taking part in our prize raffle: four tickets to Aladdin at New Wimbledon Theatre on 11 December are up for grabs on the night, along with a host of brilliant prizes.
All money raised from ticket and raffle sales will fund our life-changing community and social engagement season in summer 2019, so you’ll be contributing to a fantastic cause, as well as enjoying a great night out with us.
